Terms of Service

1. Scope and Operator

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Westbridge platform at westbridge.app, operated by Jonathan Schneider, based in Bautzen, Germany. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms in full.

2. Description of the Service

Westbridge is an AI-powered mock interview preparation platform for investment banking. The Service allows you to conduct simulated interviews with AI interviewers, receive automated feedback and performance scores, and track your progress over time. The Service is intended solely for educational and personal practice purposes.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to register. Account sharing is not permitted — one account per person.

4. Interview Credits and Purchases

4.1 Credit System

The Service operates on a credit-based system measured in interview minutes. Credits are purchased through Stripe and are deducted based on the duration of your interviews.

4.2 Credit Limits

You may hold a maximum of 2,400 minutes of interview credits at any given time. Purchases that would exceed this limit will be declined.

4.3 Credit Expiration

Unused interview credits expire after 12 consecutive months without starting an interview. We may notify you before expiration, but are not obligated to do so.

4.4 Pricing

Pricing is displayed on the pricing page. The first hour costs €25, and each additional hour costs €20. All displayed prices are in Euros and include applicable VAT (currently 19% Umsatzsteuer for customers in Germany). For customers outside the EU, no EU VAT applies. The correct tax rate for your location is determined at checkout. Prices may be shown in your local currency at checkout. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time, with changes applying only to future purchases.

4.5 Refund Policy

All purchases are final. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion for technical malfunctions that prevent usage. To request a refund, contact us at js@jonathanschneider.co within 14 days of purchase. Refunds will not be issued for unused credits, dissatisfaction with AI-generated feedback, or expired credits.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to reverse engineer or decompile any part of it, scrape or use automated tools to extract content, share your account with others, reproduce or commercially exploit content from the Service, upload malicious software, interfere with the Service infrastructure, impersonate any person or entity, or use the Service to prepare for illegal activity.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All feedback, scores, evaluations, and suggestions generated by the Service are produced by artificial intelligence and are for informational and educational purposes only. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or incomplete assessments. Performance scores do not guarantee success in any real interview. The Service does not constitute professional financial, career, or legal advice, and you should not rely solely on AI feedback to evaluate your readiness. We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated output.

7. Audio Recording and Content

By using the Service, you consent to your voice being recorded, transcribed, and analyzed by AI systems during mock interviews. You are responsible for any content you provide and should not disclose confidential or sensitive information such as proprietary employer data, NDAs, or confidential interview details during sessions. We are not liable for any consequences arising from information you voluntarily share.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including questions, interface design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any loss of opportunity, career outcome, or interview result based on use of the Service.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page or by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity including payment chargebacks, or abuse the Service. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Credits on accounts terminated for abuse or fraud are forfeited without refund.

11. Chargebacks

If you initiate a payment chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to immediately suspend your account, revoke all credits, and permanently ban the account. Please contact us at js@jonathanschneider.co before disputing charges with your bank.

12. Modifications and Discontinuation of the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue individual features or aspects of the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any such modification or partial suspension.

In the event that we decide to permanently and fully discontinue the Service, we will provide at least 30 days' prior notice to all registered users via email and through the Service. Upon expiration of this notice period, all user accounts, interview credits, and associated data will be permanently deleted. Any remaining credits at the time of shutdown are forfeited and will not be refunded. We are not liable for any loss resulting from the discontinuation of the Service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, discontinue use and delete your account.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply where they provide greater protection. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bautzen, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
